Nicola Brocca is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Innsbruck in the Department of Subject-Specific Education, Language Section. He works as an educator for teachers. His research interests include the pragmatic aspects of communication in digital media.

Diego Cortés Velásquez is an Associate Professor of modern language instruction in the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Roma Tre University. His current research includes issues related to multilingualism, Task-Based Language Teaching, and cross-cultural pragmatics.

Assoz.-Prof. Elena Nuzzo, Roma Tre University
Elena Nuzzo is an associate professor of modern language instruction in the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Roma Tre University. Her work focuses on research, education, and teacher training in the field of applied linguistics, with a specific interest in Italian as a second language. Her main areas of research include the practical applications of Speech Act theory in the learning and teaching of second languages, crosscultural pragmatics, and task-based language teaching.

Assoz.-Prof. Joseph Wang-Kathrein, Forschungsinstitut Brenner-Archiv
Joseph Wang-Kathrein has been an Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities at the Brenner Archive Research Institute and the Digital Science Center since May 2020. Since 2006, he has been involved in various FWF projects and worked at Brenner Archive Research Institute and at the Institute for Historical Sciences and European Ethnology. In the LadderWeb project, he developed the software for automatic annotation.
