Have you recently moved to Tyrol from abroad to work long-term in a Tyrolean company or at a Tyrolean university? We are delighted that you are here and would like to invite you to a new event organized by Welcome Service Tirol:
On April 19, 2024, Welcome Service Tirol would like to invite you to a guided tour through the silver town of Schwaz. Schwaz is known for its rich history. In particular, it was once the mining center of Europe with one of the most important silver mines in the world. Around 1500, Schwaz was also the second largest town in Austria due to its mining industry. The medieval flair of this important town can still be felt in many places today and invites visitors to immerse themselves in history.
After the tour, we will meet at the oldest restaurant in Schwaz for a get-together organized by Welcome Service Tirol. Over dinner we’ll have the opportunity to make new private contacts and deepen existing ones.
