  • Studied European Ethnology/Folklore, Art History and English Literature at the universities of Tübingen, Münster and Sheffield

  • 2002 PhD in European Ethnology/Folklore at the University of Münster, dissertation thesis: „National stereotypes in popular prints in eighteenth-century England“ (published with Waxmann, 2003)
