Science is....not opening the door to infinite wisdom but helps to avoid infinite error. (I am afraid Bert Brecht said that before).

Science is....?
not opening the door to infinite wisdom but helps to avoid infinite error. (I am afraid Bert Brecht said that before).

Being a Researcher and Teacher is?
the most privileged job in the world - and I doubt that you can have more fun elsewhere (but probably I'll never figure out).

I like...
administrative meetings of less than 30 minutes, scientific brainstorming and/or dinner of more than 2 hours, Bach and almost all composers who like Bach.

I don´t like...
administrative meetings of more than 2 hours, brainstorming and/or dinner of less than 30 minutes, housing prices in Innsbruck.

The major Societal Challenge is.....
often it seems: getting our children through puberty; but in fact I guess it is inequality.

My preferd Holiday Destination is...
Dolomites, New Zealand and Cologne (the latter not because of its beauty but all the happy memories)
