A half-a-day session co-organized by both Prof. Monaco and Prof. Loerting dedicated to Water Science took place within the International Workshop on Complex Systems in Andalo. Interesting talks on the latest results concerning water anomalous properties and their connection to the properties of amorphous ices have been discussed both in terms of new experimental evidences and of numerical simulation results. The session was well attended by more than 100 scientists coming from all over the world as well as interested students and professors from the Universities of Trento and Innsbruck. The workshop also allowed scientific discussions between the teams from both Universities in order to foster stronger collaboration. |
