Joint Research initiatives
University cooperation within the Euregio is an ongoing process. The joint research initiatives are a sign of the strong networking between the Universities of Bozen-Bolzano, Innsbruck and Trento as well as other research institutes.
The following joint research activities take place at the Universities of the European Region:

Menschenwürde und Menschenrechte (Human Dignity and Human Rights). The EFH project is built around the “one health” concept, and will address how ENVIRONMENT, FOOD and HEALTH are all linked to obesity and healthy ageing. The overall aim is to translate both the actual and recommended dietary patterns in EUREGIO into quantitative measures of environmental and health impact.

The Euregio Science Fund is aimed at scientists or researchers who have been working in all three European Regions for multiple years and whose work aims to pursue a common research goal corresponding with the goals of the EGTC.

„Historegio“ is a joint research project on regional history, which is carried out in cooperation with the EGCT. Its goal is to enhance research on regional history and the historical Tyrol within the three Euregio-Universities and to create new opportunities for cooperation.

Euregio Economics Meeting (2016)
The Euregio Economics Meeting has been an opportunity for researchers in all fields of Economics, from the universities of Bozen-Bolzano, Innsbruck and Trento, as well from other research institutions located in the Euregio area, to discuss their research in an informal environment.

Shifting Boundaries - Grenzverschiebungen - confini in movimento. The conference was meant to be an interdisciplinary forum for discussion, providing a platform where prospective research partners could meet and possibly plant the seeds for future research collaboration.
