I am broadly interested in various problems in discrete probability and combinatorics, especially how random processes are influenced by the geometry of the space on which they take place. Mostly recently, I have been working on:
- random walks on various finite spaces, analyzing them using heat kernel estimates and expansion properties
- hidden Markov models and
- branching random walks.
