Heiko
Hosomi Spitzeck made his Master in Economics (European Studies) at the
University of Bamberg, Germany in 2001. While working as Director of
International Issues and President of the St. Gallen Chapter - Oikos
International, Switzerland from 2004 to 2007 he worked on his Doctor Thesis,
which he finished in 2008 (Dr. oec.) at the University of St. Gallen,
Switzerland.
Heiko
Hosomi Spitzeck currently works as Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral – FDC,
Brasil, in the fields of Sustainability, Business Ethics, and Corporate Social
Responsibility, as well as at Cranfield University’s School of Management,
Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility, Great Britain.
During his
research visit at our Department, Prof. Heiko Hosomi Spitzeck will work on a Marks&Spencer
Business Case with our students. The case focuses on the development of sustainability
of companies. Marks and Spencer was a pioneer in this area and therefore is a
perfect example to work on.
