Transfer Buses

For the transfer to Obergurgl we have schedule available here:

A member of the Innsbruck group will be on each bus with a list of expected participants and their travel information. Hence we should be aware delays and will plan accordingly. If you cannot make your transfer bus, please let us know at +43 676 7360271.

The bus starts at Innsbruck central station, continues to Innsbruck Airport and ends at the unversity center in Obergurgl.

At the airport, the bus will stop in front of the terminal.

The transfer back happens after lunch on Friday at 13:00 and will reach Innsbruck around 15:00. There will be an express shuttle leaving at 11:50 on Friday in order to reach some tight connections in Innsbruck. However, spaces on the express shuttle are very limited. In case you want to take this, please contact us in Obergurgl.

If your flight leaves even earlier in Innsbruck, there is also a public transport connection leaving Obergurgl at 10:15 (coffee break) on Friday and arriving at Innsbruck airport at 12:45. The bus stop is approximately 200m away from the conference center and tickets can be bought on the bus.

Public Transport

Obergurgl can be reached by public transportation (train and bus) from Innsbruck. The nearest international airports are Innsbruck (IATA code: INN) and Munich (IATA code: MUC, 3.5 hours from Obergurgl). Additionally, the Ötztal is served by international trains (ÖBB Railjet) from Zurich and Vienna.

Car parking

Parking spaces should be available at the conference site or very close nearby.
