We could celebrate the second defensio in the DK programme with David Plankensteiner. David continues to work as a Postdoc in the group of Helmut Ritsch. His theoretical work on coupled quantum emitters and cavity QED is summarized in his thesis and has led to many publications. He is also developer of the software package QuantumOptics.jl.
