This international symposium is one in a continuing biennial series of conferences (the last one was held in 2000 in Folgeria, Italy) which seeks to promote the growth of scientific knowledge and effective exchange among scientists in the field of atomic, molecular, cluster and surface physics and related areas. The symposium deals in particular with collisional interaction involving electrons, photons, atoms, molecules, clusters, ions and surfaces and will be held under the auspices of the EPSEAC section of the EPS.
