Upload for students and scholars
The upload system is no longer active.
The last student applications were accepted in 2016 for the 8th edition of the AstroMundus course that started in autumn 2017 and will end in autumn 2019. The application forms below are available for information purposes only.
In the case of a future call for applications, a new application system will be activated.
Until November 30th, 2016 the application form was to be uploaded by prospective students together with all additional requested documents as listed in section How.

Please consider the following criteria for submission:
- only pdf files can be submitted
- the file size must not exceed 5 MB
- please use the following style for the name of your pdf file: last name plus first name and other initials of the applicant plus a short title (not more than 50 characters); no special characters should be used
(e.g.: Smith_JohnAR_this_is_my_application.pdf)
IMPORTANT: If you do NOT receive an email acknowledging your application within one hour, please submit your application again and inform astromundus@uibk.ac.at about this re-application.

Upload for referees
All applicants should ask for at least 2 reference letters to be sent by the application deadline (for the current call the deadline is Nov 30th, 2016).
Referees are kindly invited to complete this Referee Form and upload to this web-page a signed electronic copy of it as a pdf file.
The file name must contain the full name of the referee (e.g. John.Smith_Referee_Form.pdf).

Treatment of personal data and legal notice
Personal data shall be treated confidentially and solely used for the purposes of the student selection process and, after selection, for the admission and enrolling procedures at the AstroMundus Universities and for facilitating the issuance of visa. Data about students selected for participation (proposed for a scholarship/fellowship, put on the reserve list or enrolled on a self-paying basis) shall be transmitted to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission. Personal data transmitted to the EACEA may be used for the purposes of evaluating the programmes, efficiently manage the projects, and producing statistics. Data could be made available to other bodies involved in the management of the EMJMD and acting as stakeholders of the ERASMUS+ programme (i.e. the EACEA, the European Commission, the European External Action Service staff, Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus+ Offices, and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association).
Information relating to individuals (personal data) is collected and used in accordance with the Regulation (EC) No. 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18th December 2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movements of such data, OJ L8 of 12.1.2001, p.1.
