Associated Partners
AstroMundus associated partners participate in the programme in a number of ways, for example through lectures given by their staff members, co-supervision of thesis projects, possibility of summer projects offered to the students, active participation in the annual programme retreat, participation in the programme committees (Extended Board and Quality Evaluation Committee) with their representatives, and financial support of student participation (through scholarship contributions) and/or programme activities. They also give students the possibility to further enlarge their network of professional contacts. Several former AstroMundus students were successful in obtaining PhD positions within AstroMundus associated partner institutions.
